HOW TO APPLY FOR APPRENTICE SHIP APPRENTICESHIP


Applications for Apprenticeship are available on Wednesdays during normal office hours. To qualify for the training Program, an applicant must be:

A. At least 18 years of age at the time of application
B. High school graduate or GED
C. Physically able to perform the work of the trade

Applications must be filled out at the apprenticeship office. Proof or A and B, above, are required at the time of application. Photocopies of a picture ID and high school diploma or GED will satisfy these requirements.

NOTE: Employers may require a current valid driver's license and a substance test

Applications will not processed for raking until minimum qualifications are met. Application may be updated at anytime, year round, by submitting a new application. Each completed application process replaces the previous application.

Requested Documentation

o Education: Math/Shop/Mechanical Drawing classes; one semester credit job shadow program.

o Completion of apprentice Preparatory Programs: B-Fit/Job Corp contruction related program

o Personal References

o Military, Peace Corps, America Corps, VISTA Experience

o Work Experience
